Our language school in Playa del Carmen is not far from the town’s beautiful, white beaches. The school was built in typical Caribbean style and the courses are held in open rooms with straw roofs. In this language school, surrounded by tropical gardens, you learn Spanish in Paradise! Not only are the surroundings wonderful, the teaching is also excellent. Each group has a maximum of five pupils, so that the teacher can cater for individual needs. Conversation is one of the focal points of the school. There are special conversation lessons in all our Spanish courses. Lectures are held on Mexican history and culture, with discussions afterwards. The teaching materials and books were written by the school’s headmaster and are kept up to date by our highly qualified staff, so the books are tailor-made for our students.

All the teachers have years of experience, are very patient and are happy to answer any questions students may have. There is a library with many books on language and grammar available to the language students, as well as travel guides describing the country and its culture. After lessons or in the breaks the students can spend time in the cafeteria, or have a stroll in the beautiful gardens, or enjoy a game of volleyball with the other students. Apart from general language courses at varying levels, one can also choose a course which combines Spanish lessons in the morning and diving lessons in the Mexican Caribbean in the afternoon. So our language school in Playa del Carmen offers a great mixture of excellent instruction and a magnificent enviroment. This is fun to learn Spanish! Language school Playa del Carmen: AccommodationWhile in Playa del Carmen students stay with a host family. It is a ?hands on? way to get to know the Mexican way of lifeand also to improve your Spanish in your leisure time. We choose our host families with great care and it is only a twenty minute walk to the language school from your host family´s house. Some of the host families offer their guests a bike, a fast and simple way of getting round the town. There is also the possibility of renting a bike from the school.
Language school Playa del Carmen: Leisure ActivitiesOur language school in Playa del Carmen has numerous workshops and activities on offer. In the afternoons for example cooking, handicrafts, dancing, singing Mexican songs or picnics and parties. Once a week a film is shown in one of the conversation classes and the students, teachers and staff meet at the ?Café´Social? every week. There are also day trips on offer, for example to the Maya Sites in Tulum, Xel-ha, Coba, Cenote and Chichen- Itza or to the Sian-ka´an Nature Reserve, where one can see various animals threatened by extinction. You can also go on a tour of Cancun or go to the Mexican theme park in Xcaret or visit the natural fountain at Cenote Ikkil. But you can also explore Playa del Carmen and the surroundings by yourself. The Mexican Carribean is one of the best places for diving and snorkelling and Playa del Carmen actually has the second largest coral reef in the world. There are a lot of diving courses on offer and all the internationally recognized certificates can be aquired here. You can also go parachuting, windsurfing or simply play volleyball. In the evenings you can enjoy a drink in the town´s bars and clubs. So your stay will be an unforgettable experience.
