Our language school in Oaxaca

The language school in Oaxaca is situated in the middle of the old part of town, two streets from the historical convent Santa Domingo. The Zolaco and city center are also very close. It’s also not to far to the cafes, museums, and stores. The language school itself is a beautiful colonial building and has a large garden where students get together during the breaks. The thick walls of the old building ensure a cool climate in the summer. Instruction takes place in small groups of up to 5 students, so the teachers can meet the needs of each individual student. The most important part of the classes is conversation; there are special conversation hours in each course in which speeches are given about Mexican history and culture and then discussed.

The books and materials used in the courses are written by the Academic Director of the school and are always being improved to meet the individual needs of each student. All teachers have many years of teaching experience and are very patient and happy to answer all kinds of questions.

Language school Oaxaca: Accommodation

We offer our students in Oaxaca the accommodation with a Mexican host family. Students experience Mexican culture first hand and improve their Spanish skills in this type of accommodation. The language school staff carefully selects host families.

Language school Oaxaca: Leisure Activities

The cultural program in Oaxaca is so large that visitors will never be bored. They can wander through the streets and shops, observe the people, visit the many churches and convents or go on an excursion to one of the many archaeological sites. Sport fanatics can go on a mountianbike tour, rock climb or paraglide. Of course, our language school also has its own planned excursions. For example to Monte Alban (one of the most important archaeological areas in Mexico), or to Santa Maria (here you can see the oldest tree in the world- it?s over 2000 years old), or to the waterfall Hierve el Agua. Excursions to a Mezcal distillery, and to churches and convents are also part of the program. Our language school also organizes 2-day trips to Escondido, Puerto Angel, and Huatulco on the pacific.
