Our language school was established in 1938 and is one of the oldest institutions of its kind in the USA. This school has a very high standard of quality. Here only outstanding, qualified instructors with extensive teaching experience in teaching English as a Second Language are employed. Their educational qualifications, intense motivation and eagerness to work with foreign students characterize the teachers at our school. Our staff is always at the students' disposal to resolve any kinds of problems or questions relating to visas or any housing matters that arise.

The school offers an intensive language course program, private courses, business courses, TOEFL preparation courses and many other kinds of English courses. Our classes have a maximum of 10 students to ensure the utmost quality and dedication on the part of our instructors. In addition to the pleasant classroom atmosphere, the students can use a lounge with a modern multimedia center - computers are available, a wide range of books, magazines, periodicals, interactive computer programs; video tapes and cassettes for student use, as well as for teaching materials. Our school also has 14 computers with free Internet access.

Language school San Francisco: Housing

Our language school provides assistance in housing - living with homestay families which are carefully selected and regularly checked. The student has the opportunity to immerse himself/herself in a family atmosphere to daily improve his/her knowledge of the English language and American culture. The housing is located in a pleasant, safe area no more than an hour from language school. Students live in non-smoking rooms; breakfast and dinner with the family are included. Four weeks before your course begins, you will be given background information about your family. Of course, our language school staff will be happy to help you with any other type of desired housing. We also offer comfortable apartments in the heart of downtown San Francisco, close to school.

San Francisco's fame is not only due to its rich cultural offerings, its wide variety of leisure time activities, but also due to the fact that one can get to know different parts of California easily on weekend excursions. On our school bulletin board, students can always find current information about weekend trips especially designed with the students in mind: a picnic in Golden Gate Park, parties, sports activities, visits to museums, trips to Alcatraz, Berkeley and Point Reyes will make the students' stay in San Francisco a very memorable one. Our school offers a wide variety of free activities and weekend excursions at discount prices for students. One of our instructors leads each activity which gives it a personal, unique experience as does the cultural diversity of the participating students.
