Our language school in New York

First day of class you will be arriving at school around 8.30 in the morning, and will be greeted by the school staff. In order to place you properly in classes, it is necessary to take a placement test. After class we will offer an orientation program, in which you can learn all about the school and New York City. Aside from the standard courses special classes are offered, such as Cambridge- certificates and classes on improvement on accent and pronunciation. All classes consist of small, international groups. This improves the level of learning and adds to the intercultural dialogue. All teachers are native speakers, highly motivated and excellently educated. Classrooms are well equipped and add to the professional setting.

Our language school in New York is a founding member of the International Association of Language Centres (IALC), as well as an active member of Association of International Educators (NAFSA) and the Federation of International Youth Travel Organizations (FIYTO). It meets all the demands of the American Association of Intensive English Programs (AAIEP). Interesting for emigration purposes is the possible issue of an I-20 / student visa directly through school, authorized by US law.

Language school New York: Accommodation

The host family program has been successfully hosting students throughout many years. It combines a variety of different aspects of experiencing New York, living like a native embedded in a family, learning the language by communicating on a personal level. All apartments are spread throughout the city, but well accessible by public transportation. Living directly in Manhattan is possible but much more expensive due to the high living costs. All living quarters are individually checked on hygiene and cleanness. We can also assist you with hotel stays.

New York is the city that never sleeps- so many different possibilities to practice and learn English through experiences. The language school offers many trips to local points of interest, e.g. stock market, TV studios, jazz clubs in Harlem, baseball games, restaurants and museums. English workshops free of charge are held in many fields such as grammar, pronunciation, practising an English play etc. We are looking forward to welcoming you!
