Das Beste an der Sprachreise war, dass man so viel verschiedene Leute kennenlernt, mit denen man nicht nur Englisch spricht sondern teilweise auch Französisch oder andere Sprachen.Disadvantages of the language school

Das Niveau der Schule war durch die sehr guten Lehrer sehr hoch und ich habe obwohl ich nur 3 Wochen in Brighton war wirklich viel gelernt und mein Englisch verbessert. Viele unterschiedliche Nationalitäten der Schüler haben den Aufenthalt sehr interessant gemacht. Brighton ist wirklich eine super Stadt und ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder zurück gehen. Ich bin mit dem Sprachkurs zufrieden. Die Schule war gut und die Lehrer sehr freundlich. Auch das Freizeitangebot war ok, ist meiner Meinung nach jedoch verbesserungswürdig. Die Familie war sehr nett, aber leider nicht sehr sauber, vielleicht sollte man die Sprchschüler darauf vorbereiten. | | |

Das Freizeitprogramm der Schule könnte etwas ausgebaut werden: Einmal wöchentlich nachmittags gab es einen Film, und einmal wöchentlich ging es abends in den Pub (Pub Night war super!). Aber andererseits ist das jetzt auch kein großes Manko, da man in dieser Stadt auch so mit den anderen Sprachschülern total gut was unternehmen kann. | | |

es war sehr schön hier. Stadt und Menschen sind sehr nett, der Unterricht war prima, mit guten Lehrern und Betreuung.

Dadurch, dass ich im November auf der Schule war, war der Schüleranteil in meiner Klasse sehr gering. Durchschnittlich waren wir vier Leute in der Klasse (Level 5), was sehr angenehm war und den Lehrern erlaubte mehr auf individuelle Fragen und Fehler einzugehen.Comments
Ich hab nichts an der Schule auszusetzen. Die Lehrer waren alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Bei Fragen jeglicher Art war immer jemand da, der einem weiterhelfen konnte. Der Rektor hat sich regelmäßig nach der Zufriedenheit erkundigt und zu meinem Erstaunen wusste er von jedem Schüler den Vornamen. Bei Problemen oder Unstimmigkeiten wurde sofort nach einer Lösung gesucht. | | |

an sich ist für einen Sprachurlaub sehr gut geeignet, es gibt viel zu sehen und zu erleben.Disadvantages of the language school

Für die Gastfamilie: Denkt immer daran, dass ihr Gäste in einer Familie
seid! Ihr lebt in IHREM Haus und benutzt IHRE Sachen! Sie sind nicht da um euch zu bedienen und freuen sich aber über Fragen und kleine Gesten der Hilfsbereitschaft! Höflichkeit ist wichtig, dass ist in der englischen Sprache verwurzelt, aber wenn man es mit "please" und "thank you" versucht, kommt man meist sehr weit!
Hausaufgaben machen und pünktlich sein, ist ne schöne Angewohnheit, falls ihr nicht nur da seid um Urlaub zu machen, sondern was lernen wollt. Falls ihr nur Party wollt, bucht keinen Sprachkurs, sondern fahrt so nach Brighton.
Zu Brighton: Es ist keine typische englische Stadt. Viele Ausländer
(Touristen, Gastschüler, Studenten), internationale Atmosphäre und die
meisten Leute, die dort wohnen, kommen wo anders her aus allen Teilen
Englands und der restlichen Welt.Comments
Die Stadt ist toll, gerade für junge Leute gibt es viele Angebote.
Die Atmosphäre in der Schule hat mir super gefallen, da die Lehrer sehr offen und freundlich sind und versuchen Kontakt zu Schülern
herzustellen, auch wenn sie nicht in ihrer Klasse sind. Sie waren offen für Fragen und auch persönliche Anliegen und Wünsche.

L´ho scelta perchè più economica delle altre, ma poi ho scoperto essere la più seria e professionale dal punto di vista dellinsegnamento. Gli insegnanti simpatici e veramente veramente bravi.

Sarebbe stato perfetto se avesse offerto lopportunità di esercitarsi anche individualmente offrendo gratuitamente la disponibilità di compiuter con corsi in CD. Ma comunque la ISI rimane la migliore.

Da 4 anni scelgo Brighton per i miei corsi di lingue e ho frequentato altre 3 scuole ma ISIS, per l´insegnamento, è stata in assoluto la migliore.

Aprovechad al máximo el tiempo que vayais a estar en la ciudad de destino. En mi caso fue Brighton y volvería al mismo lugar otra vez porque la gente es super simpática, los profesores también y la ciudad tiene playa, fiesta, la vida no es tan cara si sabes arreglartelas bien, pero un consejo muy grande: huye de los españoles e intenta relacionarte y conocer gente nueva.Comments

Supongo que es difícil pero en clase hemos llegado a ser 7 Españoles de 10 alumnos, y que la vivienda estuviera más cerca ya que estábamos a uno poco lejos de la escuela y a diferencia de otros alumnos, nos tuvimos que comprar un pase mensual de 53 pounds cada uno (la familia perfecta ).Hints for other students
¡¡¡Que hagan este curso!!! al final salió todo bien, en la familia hemos estado perfectamente y la escuela nos ha gustado mucho. Ahora estamos compartiendo una casa con una chica Inglesa, que encima es profesora de la universidad de Brighton y estamos muy contentos.

La residencia Phoenix House fue un auténtico lujo, aunque no tiene
Wi-Fi. Está equipada con todo lo que se necesita para sobrevivir, cocina,
frigorífico y todos los accesorios para cocinar. Las habitaciones bien
iluminadas y confortables, con su cuarto de baño propio.

Lo único que debería mejorar es los horarios de los cursos intensivos. Me apunté a un curso de 30 horas y apenas tuve tiempo para hacer las actividades sociales que la escuela proponía. El equipamiento de la escuela era bueno, pero faltaba algo de espacio en algunas clases.Hints for other students
En Brighton el tiempo está un poco loco, incluido en verano, puede que se necesite un paraguas muy a menudo. Si quieres aprender inglés de verdad, huye de los españoles (si eres español, claro), ve a los bares, la gente es bastante divertida y cercana en esta ciudad.

La estancia en Brighton durante tres semanas ha sido bastante satisfactoria. Los profesores ponen todo su empeño en conseguir la mejora en el nivel de las clases y de los alumnos. La ciudad de Brighton tiene todo lo que se le puede pedir a una gran ciudad sin dejar de ser tranquila y apacible.

Todo en general! Me lo he pasado muy muy bien! He conocido a mucha gente, he visto muchas cosas y la residencia era lo mejor que te puedes encontrar.Hints for other students
La mejor residencia: Leslies Guesthouse. Si buscáis una ciudad donde poder hablar inglés, Brighton está genial pero en Julio hay más españoles que ingleses (aunque realmente eso os va a pasar en todas partes). Brighton no tiene muchas cosas para ver pero el ambiente de la ciudad y el ambiente nocturno, la fiesta que hay (las discotecas están llenas todos los días), y el estar cerca de Londres, es todo increíble!! Lo recomiendo 100%!Comments

Sono rimasto colpito dalla preparazione e sensibilità del corpo docente. In tutta la mia vita da studente (università compresa), non mi era mai capitato di osservare insegnanti oltre che preparati e con grandi capacità didattiche, anche attenti VERSO TUTTI. Nel senso che ogniuno di loro, sin dal primo impatto con la classe, riusciva ad inquadrare ogni studente e a stare "vicino" alle sue proprie aratteristiche di appredimento e a non "mollarlo". Questa è una caratteristica a mio avviso fondamentale per essere un "bravo insegnante".Disadvantages of the language school
L´unica nota a mio avviso, stonata è legata a due unici episodi.
1: l`aver potuto avere un libro di testo SOLO la settimana successiva allinizio del corso e inoltre appresi la notizia che nel lunedì successivo avremmo potuto avere il nostro libro, sentendo qualche "voce di corridoio", quindi non ho letto su una lavagna o bacheca alcun avviso in merito a ciò. 2: per qualche giorno abbiamo fatto le skills in un´aula di un edificio scolastico e successivamente e SENZA alcun comunicato scritto su una lavagna o bacheca in un´altra aula in un`altro edificio scolastico, per altro distante dagli altri, arrivando quel giorno alla lezione con circa mezzora di ritardo. Quindi in definitiva, quello che ho notato con negatività (anche se può essere solo una mia impressione) è come una sorta di assenza di network tra lamministrazione dei corsi e gli studenti (anche perchè, quando le comunicazioni sono SOLO verbali, non tutti gli studenti le sentono o riescono ad afferarle, anche perchè NON tutti abbiamo ancora un orecchio "inglese". Io, come avete letto sono rimasto PIENAMENTE SODDISFATTO (soddisfatto fin anche della mia accomodation -Mrs Angy M. è stata fantastica-) per cui Vi dico grazie e consiglierò, come già sto facendo Linguland a chiunque, perchè le esperienze belle ed arricchenti DEVONO essere condivise. Il prossimo anno dunque Vi ricontatterò certamente per un nuovo corso e una nuova sfida.Comments
È la mia prima esperienza di questo tipo, nonostante gli ahimè 41 anni, ma posso dire con obbiettività che ho molto apprezzato tutto: insegnanti prima di tutto (poichè sono le uniche persone con cui uno studente maggiormente interfaccia) e comunque nel complesso tutto il resto. | | |

Os aconsejo ir al aeropuerto de Gatwick, no llevar muchos jerseys si vais en verano o septiembre porque no hacían falta, hacía bastante calor, coger familia para practicar más inglés y comer mejor, no llevar demasiado peso en la maleta, comprarse el bono transporte de la semana en la universidad, ir a las Seven Sister, hacer todas las excursiones que puedan y disfrutar mucho.Comments
