Courses include Intensive and Semi-Intensive English, Internship Program, Business English and TOEFL. Known as one of the world’s most beautiful and vibrant cities, Vancouver is Canada’s third largest city and has a population of over 2 million people, making it a great place to study English, do an internship / work program, and have fun!. Situated on the west coast of Canada, Vancouver is located two hours by ferry from Victoria, three hours by car from Seattle, Washington and two hours by car from Whistler Resort. Vancouver is a modern and safe city offering international students stunning mountain and ocean scenery and a vast array of outdoor and entertainment options, events, attractions and services. The language school is 2 minutes from Vancouver's main shopping district of Robson Street and a 5 minute walk or a short bus ride from live theater, concerts, museums, art galleries, several of the city's finest beaches and the world famous Stanley Park. Our Vancouver English school has large bright classrooms, a state of the art computer language lab and a fun and relaxed student lounge.

Our English teachers are experienced and certified English instructors with university degrees and a minimum of one-year English teaching experience. Both the teachers and the staff believe that working for our School in Vancouver is more than just a job; it is an experience that they really enjoy every day. The teachers and staff care about every student and are always there to help students, to answer questions, and to make students feel welcome. Your teachers will do more than teach you English; they will also become your friends! Students at the Vancouver English school come from all points on the globe including Brazil, Japan, Russia, Mexico, Korea, Taiwan, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Argentina, Colombia and Switzerland. While the minimum age for the Core English programs is 16, students at the Vancouver English school range in age from 16 to 60, and most are between 21 and 28 years of age. Our school in Vancouver has a strict "English Only" policy, which means that students are required to speak English only while in the school and on activities. This rule and the friendly atmosphere encourages students to get to know their classmates of other nationalities and thus learn English faster as they practice it with their new friends.

Language school Vancouver: Leisure Activities Depending on the season, student activities and excursions may include parties, theater nights, museum and gallery tours, mountain biking, sporting matches, pub nights, pizza lunches, dinner parties, beach volleyball, shopping trips, skiing and snowboarding, canoeing, conversation club meetings, whale watching, ice skating and weekend excursions to neighboring cities and places of interest. All scheduled activities are led by a member of the language school staff and students are required to speak English only on all field trips and excursions. Language school Vancouver: Accommodation Homestay - Homestay students are placed with carefully selected Canadian families that offer a secure and friendly environment. Students are provided with a private bedroom, bathroom facilities, meals and contact with English speaking Canadians every day. The host family provides basic information on how to function in Canada such as: How to use the bus system to go to and from school, where to shop, and how to get to the local library, bank, recreation centre and pharmacy. Apartments, Hotels & Hostels - Although we recommend Homestay accommodation to students wanting to enjoy the full Canadian cultural experience, Vancouver has many other options for accommodation. Our school can assist student in finding safe and clean housing in apartments, hotels or hostels depending on their requirements and budget. Vancouver students who are interested in apartment style accommodation will be placed in an apartment style hotel near the school.
