Language holidays – more than just learning a language
Everybody knows that learning a language is only one reason for going on a langugae holiday. Meeting new people from all over the world ist just as important as learning a language. This is what we can tell from our own experience as students on a language holiday, and from feebacks we get from our clients. They generally tell us about the good time they had at their language school before stating how much Spanish or French they have learnt. We all know New York's amazing skyline with the Empire State Building and the streets of Manhattan – mainly from television. But the experience of meeting Mexican, French and Spanish students in the language school is something completely different. We noticed that some concerns that students have before their departure just vanish while they stroll through the streets of Buenos Aires, and that life during a language holiday is completely different from what they expected it to be like. A langugage holiday is not better or worse – just different, as it is a completely new experience for most people. This also applies to European destinations like sunny Italy. We recommend that you only prepare the most basic things for the language course you may be planning in Germany or for your language holiday in Italy. The less you plan, the more open you will be for the experince during your language holiday. Obviously, certain formalities like your visa or your accomodation need to be sorted out in advance, but linguland looks forward to helping you out with that. Can you imagine what the atmosphere of a Milonga in Buenos Aires is like? Our language school knows Argentina's best Tango-ballrooms. Also, going out after your Spanish lessons in Spain is fairly easy: just join the group of other language students from the USA, France or Canada, - some Germans may be there as well. This is how easy it is to be on a language holiday. It's an awareness of life – and the language is easily learned along the way.
